Job Description
Pediatric Gastroenterologist
- MD DO or equivalent medical degree.
- Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled clinician in general gastroenterology with experience or interest in motility/neurogastroenterology or advanced therapeutic procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal liver and nutritional disorders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsincluding dietitians psychologists and other specialiststo support holistic patient care.
- Participate in teaching activities including the education and supervision of medical students residents and fellows.
- Engage in clinical or translational research in pediatric gastroenterology with opportunities for both collaboration and independent projects.
- Contribute to divisional and departmental service activities.
Qualifications:
- MD DO or equivalent medical degree.
- Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
- Demonstrated expertise or interest in pharmacological management motility/neurogastroenterology or advanced therapeutic procedures.
- Strong clinical teaching and research skills.
