whileensuringthehealthandsafetyofathletes.Theidealcandidatewillhavepriorcoaching
experiencestrongleadershipskillsandapassionforstudent-athletedevelopment.Theassistant
coachassiststheheadcoachinrunningasuccessfulvarsityprogramwhichcompetesasa
NationalJuniorCollegeAthleticAssociation(NJCAA)DivisionIprogramandasamemberof
theGeorgiaCollegiateAthleticAssociation(GCAA).Thismainlyincludesrecruitingstudent-
athletespracticeandcompetitioncoachingdesignandimplementationofcompetitivestrategies
andadvisingandmentoringourstudent-athletes.Theassistantmustunderstandandpromotethe
missiongoalsvaluesandeducationalidealsofOxfordCollegeofEmoryUniversity.
KeyResponsibilities:
Ensure the health safety and well-being of athletes on and off the field.
Foster a community of healthy competition and sportsmanship among athletes.
Plan and implement effective and engaging practice sessions.
Assist with team management and logistics.
Maintain open communication with athletes coaches and staff.
Qualifications:
Previous coaching experience required.
Ability to pass a driving and criminal background check.
Availability for nights and weekends August through November.
Availability during the day during pre-season in August.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of student-athletes and
professional staff.
