The Department of Physician Assistant Medicine in the College of Natural and Health Sciences at The University of Tampa invites applications for a full-time 12-month Principal Faculty position beginning in Fall 2025. This position includes the opportunity for appointment as Associate Program Director depending on experience and alignment with program needs.
The University of Tampas Physician Assistant Medicine Program is accredited by ARC-PA and is located in a state-of-the-art health sciences complex in the heart of downtown Tampa. The program is committed to excellence in graduate education a student-centered learning environment and innovation in healthcare education.
Position Summary
The Principal Faculty member participates in all aspects of PA education including didactic and clinical instruction student assessment and remediation curriculum development program evaluation admissions and mentoring. Principal Faculty are full-time members of the academic team and report to the Program Director.
If appointed as Associate Program Director the faculty member will also assist in the administration of the program and support the Program Director in strategic planning accreditation compliance faculty development and program operations.
