Job Description
- Working closely with stakeholders to configure deploy and optimize utility billing and customer information system (CIS) capabilities
- Strong understanding of utility billing processes rate structures and regulatory compliance.
- Hands-on functional and business process experience with platforms (e.g. Oracle Utilities vxRetail SAP IS-U Open Smartflex).
- Translate complex utility rate structures (e.g. time-of-use tiered demand-based) into systems billing configurations.
- Collaborate with client teams across billing operations IT and customer service to ensure successful CIS integration.
- Manage interval data ingestion and processing workflows ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Document functional specifications process flows and configuration guides.
- Stay current on product updates and utility industry trends to advise clients effectively.
- Experience with interval data processing and smart meter integration
- Familiarity with EDI mobile workforce management and customer self-service portals.
