Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and engineering work instructions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing processes tooling and fixtures.
Support welding design metallurgy and testing (destructive & non-destructive).
Ensure safety compliance and industry best practices in welding operations.
Improve robotic welding arc welding and metal fabrication processes.
Assist in resolving production challenges and optimizing workflow efficiency.
Provide technical expertise on GD&T weld symbology and engineering drawings.
Qualification:
B. Tech
5 years of experience in Manufacturing or Weld Engineering
Expertise in manual & automatic welding processes (GTAW LBW Resistance Welding)
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing quality control and process improvement
Familiarity with fixture & tooling design to support production
Ability to interpret engineering schematics and standards compliance
