Job Summary RF Design Engineer (Small Cell Deployment)
- Design outdoor small cell and DAS networks using RF propagation tools (Atoll iBwave).
- Conduct field testing (CW testing) analyze RF data and prepare technical documentation.
- Evaluate candidate sites review architectural and engineering (A&E) drawings and validate project closeout packages.
- Design and modify AC/DC power configurations for small cell nodes using AutoCAD.
- Create wiring diagrams and bills of materials for deployment teams.
- Maintain and update internal RF equipment inventories and site records.
- Optimize and troubleshoot deployed systems using test and measurement tools (e.g. spectrum analyzers pilot scanners power meters).
- Ensure all designs and deployments comply with FCC OSHA and local regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering construction vendors and customers throughout project lifecycle.
- Support new technology trials and contribute to process improvements.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced evolving technical environment.
- Travel locally (20%) and make occasional trips to Denver or Seattle as needed.
