Job Description

Job Summary:

This Respiratory Therapist position requires floating between two hospitals Providence Mount Carmel Hospital Colville and Providence St. Josephs Hospital Chewelah. The role involves providing respiratory care to patients requiring weekend work on an every-other-weekend basis. A 1:3 patient-to-therapist ratio is expected. The position utilizes Epic charting.
Location: Colville Washington United States
Responsibilities:
- Providing respiratory care to patients.
- Floating between two hospital locations.
- Maintaining patient charts and records using Epic.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current Respiratory Therapist license.
- BLS certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work weekends every other weekend.
- Ability to float between hospital locations.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Prior experience in a critical access hospital setting.

Special Considerations:
- Weekend work is required every other weekend.
- Floating between two hospital locations is required.
- 48-hour work blocks are not approved.
- No on-call requirements.
- 1:3 patient-to-therapist ratio.
Scheduling:
- Block scheduling is required.
- Weekends are required every other weekend.
- Shift type and assignment details not specified.
