Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Data Steward to ensure the integrity accuracy and consistency of data across our aviation operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and a strong understanding of data governance practices within the aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high-quality data standards across all business systems and processes.
- Monitor and validate data inputs and outputs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enforce data governance policies.
- Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 to manage and maintain master data records.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues and inconsistencies.
- Support data migration and integration efforts during system upgrades or transitions.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to data standards definitions and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with aviation industry regulations and standards related to data management.
- Provide training and support to staff on data stewardship best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems Data Management or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in data stewardship or data management roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 including data administration and reporting.
- Experience working in the aviation industry or with aviation-related data.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements (e.g. FAA EASA).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Certification in data management or Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
