Job Title: Azure Architect
Experience Required: 12 Years
Location: Any DC location of Infosys
Work Mode: Hybrid
Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Architect to design implement and manage secure scalable and cost-effective cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders technical teams and leadership to define cloud strategy architecture and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement end-to-end cloud solutions on Azure aligned with business and technical requirements.
Develop cloud architecture blueprints roadmaps and migration strategies for enterprise applications and workloads.
Lead cloud migration initiatives including infrastructure applications and databases to Azure.
Ensure solutions adhere to security compliance governance and cost-optimization best practices.
Define and enforce architecture standards patterns and frameworks for cloud adoption.
Work with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to assess current environments identify gaps and recommend cloud solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development operations and engineering teams.
Conduct performance tuning capacity planning and disaster recovery design for Azure workloads.
Stay updated with the latest Azure services features and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
12 years of overall IT experience with 10 years in cloud architecture (Azure preferred).
Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services (Compute Storage Networking Security Databases App Services Functions AKS etc.).
Proven experience in cloud migration hybrid cloud setups and multi-cloud environments.
Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (ARM Templates Terraform Bicep).
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and automation scripting (PowerShell Python etc.).
Strong understanding of security compliance identity & access management (Azure AD RBAC Key Vault Defender for Cloud).
Knowledge of data and analytics services (Azure Synapse Data Factory Databricks) is a plus.
Experience with enterprise-scale networking and connectivity (ExpressRoute VPN VNet Load Balancers Firewalls).
Excellent communication stakeholder management and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / DevOps Engineer / Security Engineer.
Experience in containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes AKS).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and enterprise project delivery.
