Job Description
Over 3 years of business experience in Software and Hardware Asset Management (SAM/HAM) IT Asset Management CMDB and Software Procurement including 4 years in a team management role. Minimum 4 years of hands -on experience with SAM tools such as SAM Pro HAM Pro and AMDB. Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven experience engaging stakeholders across all levels -including senior management -across multiple geographies. Deep understanding of complex licensing models including IBM PVU/RVU Oracle Processor/Core -based Concurrent and Socket - based licensing. Expertise in managing license compliance for Tier -1 publishers such as Microsoft Oracle IBM Adobe and VMware. Certifications such as CSAM CHAMP CAMP ITAM or SAM are a definite plus. Skilled in communicating and influencing at both executive and operational levels. Experienced in managing SaaS applications using specialized SaaS management tools ensuring effective governance usage tracking and compliance across the organization Experienced in conducting SAM maturity assessments and driving continuous improvement programs. Familiar with discovery tools across platforms including SCCM JAMF Qualys and ServiceNow. Knowledgeable in hardware asset lifecycle management including sustainability concepts and key KPIs to track . Proven ability to lead End -of -Life (EOL) management processes and develop effective mitigation plans. Strong understanding of mapping software/hardware data to business systems/applications to assess criticality. Hands -on experience in configuring and managing Tier -1 publishers in SAM Pro including Oracle (Management & Options DB) and IBM (Sub -Cap with/without ILMT). Capable of designing workflows and processes to create custom automation solutions. Excellent presentation skills with the ability to deliver insights across a wide range of SAM/HAM topics. Experience in application rationalization and modernization initiatives. Proven track record in driving cost-saving and cost-avoidance initiatives with reporting capabilities using Tableau ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Power BI.
