We can offer you the following tasks
The demand for improved shaft sealings in turbochargers is increasing due tothe introduction of future fuels which bring new challenges. These advancedsealing systems are necessary to ensure the efficiency and reliability of themachines and to minimize environmental this work you will gaininsights into various areas of engineering. Starting with numerical CFDsimulations to understand the phenomena investigating design conceptsdetailing them and exploring measurement technologies. Supported by experts:
- Building knowledge on high-speed shaft sealing systems and theirtesting methods
- Numerical pre- studies (CFD) on various sealing concepts
- Design a test module for integration into existing drive components
- Developing a digital twin (CFD) of the test module
- Selecting appropriate measurement methods
You can help us with these qualifications
- Degree in natural sciences with a focus on mechanical engineering or comparable
- General interest in engine/turbocharger systems flow phenomena and/ormeasurement technology
