The practice sees a wide variety of rheumatological cases and offers full-spectrum state-of-the-art collaborative investigational and treatment services. Responsibilities include providing ambulatory care in the out-patient clinic on-call in-person and virtual consultative services to hospital patients. The practice includes a Systemic Lupus Difficult to treat RA and Gout specialty clinic as well as a fellowship lead USS guided procedure clinic.
This position also provides teaching opportunities to a variety of learners including medical students medical residents and rheumatology fellows and fellows from other specialties on rheumatology elective. The ideal candidate will be as involved as desired with the fellowship program
The position also offers research opportunities including translation clinical and trial-based research. There are also leadership opportunities within the fellowship the division and the department. The position also offers the opportunity for involvement with ACGME both within the division and the hospital system to the right candidate.
Although not required experience would be a plus. The opportunity fosters growth and mentorship and faculty development allows for growth and promotion.
