Driver - Part Time (Monday-Friday, 1pm-6pm)

Are you passionate about helping others and enjoy being on the road Join our LIFE Transportation team as a Driver and provide vital transportation services for elderly clients in Tulsa! Our LIFE PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) team is dedicated to supporting seniors by helping them stay safely in their homes avoiding nursing facility placement whenever possible.

What Youll Do:

• Safely transport seniors from their homes to our care center and to their scheduled appointments.
• Assist clients as they get in and out of vehicles including ensuring secure wheelchair transport when needed.
• Keep vehicles clean safe and well-maintained coordinating with our dispatcher for regular servicing.
• Work closely with our team to follow assigned routes and scheduled rides.
• Maintain confidentiality and a professional caring attitude with clients at all times.

CERTIFICATION LICENSES REGISTRATIONS:

• Holds and maintains a current Oklahoma Drivers license
• Possess CPR and basic first aid certification

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience in working with a frail or elderly population preferred.
• Experienced in transporting individuals with special mobility needs preferred.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS and ABILITIES:

• Working knowledge of physical mental and social needs of the frail elderly population.
• Function independently have flexibility and personal integrity.
• Skilled in identifying and recommending problem resolution; and ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

This is a Safety Sensitive position requiring candidates to have:
