Job Summary

Sells new John Deere and all used equipment with the primary focus on compact construction equipment (CCE) and commercial landscaping customers. Work to grow relationships with existing and new customers. Maintains communication with P&K Equipment stores and personnel.

Essential Duties:

• Represents the company in all areas of our business including sales partsand service.
• Learn and maintains product knowledge of current and non-current equipment particularly skid steers compact track loaders compact excavators skid steer attachments commercial mowing products utility vehicles utility tractors etc.
• Conducts business within a specific geographicarea.
• Understand the competition.
• Participates in all training that is offered and required.
• Maintains assigned company vehicle and equipment.
• Be proficient operating and demonstrating equipment.
• Call on customers at jobsites.
• Represents the company at industry events shows and in communities.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Clean driving recordand good safety habits.
• Ability to use standard computer software applications such as Microsoft Office (Word Excel etc.) and internet functions.
• Strong human relations and effective oral and written communication skills.
• Self Starter and ability to adapt to change.
• Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.
