Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead to join our engineering team with a strong focus on this role you will provide technical leadership and hands-on contributions across our ad stack including our Prebid-based wrapper technology. You will work closely with a team of software and QA engineers mentoring and guiding them while driving product performance and revenue impact. You will also collaborate cross-functionally with Product Revenue and other business teams to ensure alignment on deliverables and technical initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Mentor and support a team of software and QA engineers through regular check-ins code reviews and technical guidance.
- Provide architectural and feature design support to engineers ensuring scalable and maintainable codebases.
- Review and provide feedback on pull requests (PRs) upholding code quality and engineering standards.
- Help engineers stay on task and maintain momentum especially when tackling complex or time-consuming issues.
- Leverage deep AdTech knowledge to identify revenue opportunities and propose technical enhancements to our ad stack particularly our Prebid-based wrapper.
- Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to align engineering efforts with company goals and timelines.
- Participate in and contribute to cross-functional meetings to discuss progress on ongoing initiatives and ensure smooth execution.
- Other Duties as required
Skill Requirements:
- 6 years of experience in software engineering with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or mentoring capacity
- Strong expertise in JavaScript and front-end web technologies
- Deep understanding of AdTech systems particularly header bidding and programmatic advertising
- Experience designing and implementing scalable features in revenue-critical systems
- Proven ability to lead by influence and collaborate effectively with engineers and non-engineers alike
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices including version control CI/CD testing and documentation
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Ability to join us onsite 3x per week
