Description
The Janitor assists with cleaning the office environment. They carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: general office & bathroom cleaning sanitation and garbage removal.
Essential Functions and Desired Outcomes
- Complete the weekly cleaning schedule to ensure a sanitary clean and welcoming environment.
- Respect peoples privacy and ensure duties are carried out in a customer focused approach.
- Primary duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Clean floors sweep vacuum mop & scrub
- Service clean sterilize & supply restrooms toilets urinals sinks fixtures floors & trash
- Pick-up and dispose of trash and recyclables; clean containers as needed.
- Dust and clean light fixtures and blinds
- Operate powered equipment typically used in custodial operations
- Keep janitorial closet clean and orderly.
- Prepare mix and use cleaning agents according to specifications.
- Remove all stains from vertical surfaces such as doors door frames and around light switches.
- Dust all baseboards image frames charts graphs and wall hangings
