Job Description:
The Role: Materials Handler Technician
MaineGeneral Health is looking for a Materials Handler Technician to join our dynamic team of professionals. The Materials Handler Technician distributes and stocks inventory and equipment to assigned areas.
The Work:
Verifies orders and reviews against items to be delivered to ensure accuracy of delivery. Delivers requested items or reports issues preventing delivery to appropriate persons.
Communicates with internal and external customers regarding inventory levels availability of supplies and product identification.
Documents tracking for distributed inventory.
Maintains work and storage areas and equipment in an organized clean and safe condition.
You Have:
- Ability to think and work independently and with direction and communicate with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Previous Materials Handler experience preferred.
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
