Job Description

IWC Instructor-IWC Support Services

  • Employment Type: Full Time
  • Location: Crystal City VA and various other sites
  • This position is contingent upon contract award.

The IWC Instructor-IWC Support Services provides academic support services to IWC functional networks and students in the fields of national security international affairs international relations and irregular warfare.

  • Duties & Responsibilities

Develop tailored operational and strategic level IW curriculum for DoD US interagency partners and Allies to fill critical IW education and training gaps that IWC SMEs identify through assessments of current IW curriculum educational shortfalls lessons learned and operational requirements to successfully address emerging and future threat trends.

Work with a design team of instructors SMEs and graphic artists to interpret materials from the client to produce engaging and effective interactive learning products create course assets from approved GFI and use content development tools to create learning objects.

Teach and evaluate designated courses with appropriately cleared USG agencies and NATO Allies and partners as .

Develop programs of instruction (POI) and maintain updates to course curriculum as tracking the development and evaluation of instructors and students.

Provide course materials and prep work to the participants as the course is updated and/or taught.

Work in both classified and open-source domains to develop unclassified curriculum products.

Assist in developing IW evaluation and validation programs.

Provide IWC academic instruction for U.S. Allies and partners participating in various exercises.

Integrate new technologies into the various IW lessons learned repositories and link appropriately to the IWCs Joint Lessons Learned portal.

Collaborate closely with the Program Manager to align engagements and other work with the project plan.

  • Required Qualifications
  1. 10 years of demonstrated knowledge on Irregular Warfare Gray zone activities functional understanding of the policy process and Washington D.C. diplomatic and military organizations and culture and the ability to interact with senior foreign representatives
  1. 7 years relevant experience supporting US Government interagency and multinational training and education efforts including designing training and educational materials for DoD Government and/or Federal Agency clients.
  1. Must possess or be eligible to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
  1. Excellent verbal and written communication with a variety of audiences at all levels of the organization.
  1. Shall be a U.S. citizen.
  1. Some travel expected including overseas travel.
