The Louisiana Workforce Commission (LWC) is seeking aWorkers Compensation Compliance Analystto ensure compliance with statutes governing the Office of Workers Compensation Administration.
The Office of Workers Compensation Administration:
The Office of Workers Compensation Administration (OWCA) in Louisiana oversees the enforcement and administration of workers compensation laws aiming to support early return-to-work efforts and improve workplace safety. We do not process individual workers compensation claims or issue benefit payments.
This position helps to regulate and ensure compliance of statutes governing the Office of Workers Compensation Administration claim filing process by workers compensation insurance carriers or self-insured funds.

Job Duties:
Link applicable Notice of Payment (1002) and/or Notice of Stop Payment (1003) forms to existing electronically filed FROIs.
Map paper 1002/1003 data elements to SROI and assist with implementing EDI paperless reporting.
Assist staff in producing compliance Score Cards for approximately 200 Trading Partners.
Monitor vendor task management systems and email communications for compliance issues.
Provide direct responses to inquiries when vendors cannot resolve them.
Other duties as assigned.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type:This position may be filled as either a Probational or a Job Appointment (open to all qualified applicants); a Promotion (open to all statewide classified and agency-wide permanent status employees); or by Detail to Special Duty. Current permanent status classified employees may be required to accept a Probational appointment if selected. If filled as a Job Appointment there is a possibility that this position may be converted to a Probational Appointment should funding become available.
This position participates in a Career Progression Group (CPG).It may be filled as a Workers Compensation Compliance Analyst 1 or 2 at which the vacancy is filled and will be determined by the qualifications of the candidate selected. This position is an opportunity to advance within this job series. The actual starting salary depends on the education and experience of the selected applicant.No Civil Service test scoreis required to be considered for this vacancy.
