HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services at Mission Health in Asheville North Carolina seeks an Experienced CRNA to join our leadership team as Facility Chief - Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
Highlights of Opportunity:
Reports to the Division Chief APP and HCA Service Line President or delegates and serves as liaison between HCA Anesthesia Service Line and facility APPs and Anesthesiologists.
Collaborates directly with FMD and Facility Director of Operations (DOO) and at times with Division Medical Director (DMD) and/or HCA Anesthesia Service Line CMO and Division Vice-President.
Participates in recruitment of quality APPs for assigned facility and/or region working in concert with HCAs permanent/locum/1099 recruitment teams. May require attendance at recruitment events will require participation in the interview process.
Works with FMD to ensure development of team meetings as representative/liasion of service line to ensure dissemination of corporate information/improvement of same.
Directs participates and facilitates expansion of service line
Works with FMD to establish/maintain continuous performance and quality improvement programs along with risk management programs to meet regulatory requirements.
Ensures corporate credentialing/compliance to maintain licensure certification and privileges of all APPs in purview.
Leads/develops efforts to ensure organization and supervision of necessary educational activities/mandatory requirements to assure compliance with APP continuing education requirements
Performs all other relevant duties as required and directed by HCA representatives including Anesthesia service line leadership hospital administration division leads and/or Medical Staff.
Participates in clinical care as needed to support critical functions with other members of the anesthesia team

Supports all policies procedures regulations and management decisions of HCA and HCA Anesthesia Service line.
Meets established production/quality goals and metrics as outlined.
Follows up in a timely manner all open items that require attention of the division chief APP.
Education/ Training/Experience:
Bachelors Degree from 4 year college/university 5 or more years managerial experience or equivalent combination of education/experience
Successful completion of accredited school of nurse anesthesia program
Active NC licensure or ability to obtain. Current ACLS BLS certification.
