The Pawtucket School Department is seeking an MLL Support Teacher. Under the direction of the school administrator and MLL Director the classroom teacher will implement the district curriculum. EXEMPLARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Plans and provides appropriate learning experiences for studentsProvides an atmosphere and environment conducive to the intellectual physical social and emotional development of individuals to ensure success for ELsSupports all English Learners in the classroom through push-in serviceProvides targeted English Language instruction for level 1 and 2 ELsGuides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goalsEstablishes clear objectives for all lessons units projects and communicates these objectives to students and parentsPrepares for classes assigned and shows written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate supervisorMonitors and evaluates student outcomes.
