Job Summary:
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for managing the dealerships inventory of vehicles ensuring accurate record-keeping and facilitating the smooth flow of inventory in and out of the dealership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records using dealership management software.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Assist in the organization and presentation of inventory on the sales floor.
- Process incoming and outgoing vehicles ensuring proper documentation.
- Collaborate with sales staff to ensure inventory is accurately represented.
- Monitor vehicle conditions and report any discrepancies or concerns.
- Assist in preparing inventory reports for management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in inventory management or automotive industry preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer software and inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
