Job Summary
Responsible for promoting evidence-based practice and advancing nursing knowledge through research and scholarly activities by collaborating with nurses physicians and other healthcare professionals to identify research opportunities design and conduct studies and analyze data to improve patient outcomes and healthcare practices.
Essential Functions:
-Identify research priorities and gaps in nursing practice working with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to develop research questions and objectives.
-Design and conduct nursing research studies including quantitative and qualitative research clinical trials and quality improvement initiatives.
-Collaborate with hospital researchers academic institutions and external partners to secure funding for nursing research projects.
-Develop research protocols obtain necessary approvals and ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards in human subjects research.
-Collect and analyze data using statistical and qualitative analysis methods to derive meaningful insights and conclusions from research findings.
-Disseminate research findings through publications in peer-reviewed journals presentations at conferences and contributions to nursing and healthcare literature.
-Collaborate with clinical nurses to implement evidence-based practices and research findings into patient care protocols and workflows.
- Masters Degree Nursing required and Doctorate Related Field of Study required
- Registered Nurse MA License
- Nursing Experience 1-2 years required
- Strong assessment and clinical skills to provide comprehensive nursing care to students with diverse health needs.
- Knowledge of pediatric health conditions growth and development and childhood immunization schedules.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students parents educators and healthcare providers.
- Understanding of school health regulations policies and procedures related to student health.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage health records and health-related documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team with school staff and healthcare providers.
