Job Training Director Key Performance Objectives Include:
- Lead and manage the Gismondi Job Training Program ensuring high-impact services from initial client engagement through training graduation job placement and employment retention.
- Plan develop and implement job training programs that meet the evolving needs of participants and employers emphasizing outcomes and program sustainability.
- Strengthen and streamline program processes and workflows to ensure efficient client-centered service delivery across all stages of the training and employment pathway.
- Oversee and support program staff providing ongoing supervision mentorship and leadership development.
- Build and maintain partnerships with community stakeholders to enhance curriculum relevance job placement opportunities and supportive services.
- Ensure training programs align with current labor market demands by developing or refining curricula based on employer feedback and regional workforce data.
- Oversee the coordination of wraparound educational and vocational support services including job readiness training career counseling and barrier reduction supports for participants.
- Use data to drive decisions: monitor evaluate and report on program outcomes using key performance indicators such as enrollment completion credential attainment job placement and retention.
- Ensure compliance with all funder regulatory and internal reporting requirements including preparing detailed performance reports and outcome documentation.
- Identify and support funding opportunities assisting with grant proposals reporting on funded initiatives and contributing to sustainability strategies.
- Manage program budgets ensuring financial resources are allocated appropriately tracked accurately and aligned with strategic priorities.
- Ensure direct support to job seekers is provided including career planning job readiness coaching and placement services act as liaison between participants and employer partners for referrals and follow-up.
Minimum Qualifications: - A bachelors degree in Workforce Development Education Public Administration Social Services or a related field is required.
- A minimum of five years of experience in workforce development job training or adult education programs including at least five years in a supervisory or leadership role is required.
- Strong understanding of workforce development systems labor market trends and employer engagement strategies is required.
- The proven ability to design implement and evaluate vocational training and supportive services programs is required.
- Experience managing grants budgets and compliance with funder and regulatory requirements is required.
- Demonstrated success in building partnerships with employers educational institutions and community organizations is required.
- Proficiency in data analysis and using metrics to drive program improvement and reporting is required.
- Excellent leadership communication and team management skills are required.
- The ability to work with diverse populations including underserved or marginalized groups is required.
- Highly developed organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- The ability to visit training sites as needed is required.
- Act 33/34 and FBI clearances are required.
