Lancashire County Council is pleased to announce an Apprenticeship opportunityfor its Highways and Operations based at Burnley Depot/Cuerden Depot. This apprenticeship offers a full 4 year opportunity commencing in September 2015. Salary will start at 7.68 per hour and following a successful 6 month probation period will increase to 9.22per hour.
As an Apprentice Electrician you can expect to get involved in installing electrical wiring systems in a variety of areas but predominately in street lighting systems. You will also be working outside at heights and in trenches as required.
Applicants should have a good school or college or work record in terms of time keeping conduct and punctuality and a positive attitude towards training. Candidates should also have an interest in working in the electrical industry. Apprentices will work towards the Level 3 Installation Electrician apprenticeship standard with Burnley return Lancashire County Council offers a range of benefits which can be found on LCC vacancies website.
