CLINICAL ASSISTANT

- You have a permanent part-time position (24-32hrs/week 3-4 days p/week).

Your tasks at a glance
- You assist during the pre-op exams and fill the patients charts accurately.
- You answerpatients questions and ensure the best service.
- You work closely with Optometrists.
- You conduct pre-operative and post-operative tests for patients.
- You updatethe appointment system after every patients consultation.
- You schedule and confirm post-operative appointments by telephone.
- You will be cross-trained in the Receptionist position.
A clear view of your assets
- You are comfortable with computers technology and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).
- You have an interest in the medical field and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- You find it easy to connect with others and quickly build trust.
- Your experience in the health care field is considered an asset (ex: medical assistant physiotherapy assistant optometry assistant orderly dental assistant pharmacy lab technician sterilization assistant animal health technician assistant veterinary assistant etc.).
- You are looking for a fast-paced dynamic work environment where your ability to work in a team and excel at multi-tasking will be an asset.
- Schedule: You have flexible work availability between Monday to Saturday day-time (3-4 days a week) as well as Sundays on an occasional basis.
