CatholicCare NT is a not-for-profit organisation providing social services and programs to individuals couples families children groups schools and agencies across the Northern Territory.
Our Housing Support Program has a tenancy sustainability focus. It aims to assist people experiencing or at risk of homelessness to sustain a tenancy or prevent eviction. Housing Support Services are delivered to participants in all types of rental accommodation primarily those who reside in public housing or social and community housing.
The program implements a case management approach to break the cycle of homelessness through empowering participants to effectively problem solve and manage their situation long term.
- Relevant qualification and minimum five years experience in relevant practice and team leadership
Strong interpersonal and communication skills encompassing report writing case note writing and the ability to communicate effectively with managers staff and stakeholders across a range of diverse cultural groups and settings
Experience in recording and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data in line with program requirements and leading a team to do the same
Demonstrated cultural competency particularly in working with Indigenous people
