Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented System Functional Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our systems meet business requirements by bridging the gap between technical teams and business users. A key responsibility of this role is to support the OIP Program Administrators train end users and ensure comprehensive and up-to-date system documentation is maintained to support ongoing operations and enhancements. The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate system testing results to both non-technical and technical team to ensure timely issue identification and resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist OIP Program Administrator with day-to-day operations including but not limited to providing technical support and report analysis to congressional and intra-agency data request.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather analyze and document functional requirements. Including managing the document repositories such as JIRA and Sharepoint.
- Facilitate the design testing and implementation of system solutions and enhancements.
- Conduct training sessions and create training materials for end users on new or updated system functionalities.
- Develop maintain and regularly update detailed system documentation including user guides workflows process maps and configuration documents.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and help users validate that systems meet their requirements.
- Work closely with business users to execute UAT ensuring functionality aligns with business requirements and expectations.
- Track and document UAT findings triage issues and work with customer and development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects or gaps.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to functional system use.
- Stay current on industry best practices and new technologies that may improve business systems or processes.
