The Chief Investment Office (CIO) is responsible for portfolio construction and asset/liability management on behalf of Prudentials insurance businesses. Business plans contemplate significant new business and reinsurance activities within Lotus Re and Gib Re. Successful portfolio management and asset sourcing planning requires significant analytical resources within CIO.

The QIS team within CIO is responsible for research and development of Asset Liability and ALM models that supports both General Account and hedging portfolio. It is also responsible for review and construction of asset allocation strategies including hedging strategies on various product addition the team is also responsible for providing quantitative support on broad strategic initiatives on pricing hedging and valuation of capital market sensitive insurance guarantees.

The Investment Analyst within QIS team is responsible for supporting implementation of QIS proprietary models for corporate partners specific use-case across Product Development Investment Risk Asset Management Actuarial Treasurer and Finance. This position is also responsible for supporting creation of bespoke ALM solution in addressing corporate stakeholder specific addition this role will assist in implementing CIO/QIS roadmap relates to enterprise FM Transformation initiative.

The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What you can expect:
Collaborate with corporate partners to support adoption and implementation of QIO proprietary models
Support creation and implementation of bespoke ALM solutions to corporate partners
Support implementation of CIO/QIS roadmap in correct to enterprise FM Transformation

What youll need:
1 years of related experience
Higher degree in financial engineering mathematics computer science statistics or other quantitative fields
Knowledge of derivative instruments including options swaps and futures
Programming experience with Python and C#
Creative problem solver with an aptitude for complex technical work
Expert communication skills and capability to coordinate complex projects involving multiple teams.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $95000 to $115000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location candidate experience and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program whereby an award if any depends on various factors including without limitation individual and organizational addition employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off medical dental and retirement.
