Job Summary
My client is seeking a detail-oriented and experiencedAccounting Managerto lead their accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving process improvements and maintaining compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger accounts payable/receivable payroll and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
- Manage and mentor a team of accountants and finance staff
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience including 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks NetSuite SAP) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
