Job Description

Customer Liability Manager

Do you want to combine legal insight with operational impact in an international environment Are you motivated by shaping processes and ensuring compliance while managing complex cases If so this role could be your next challenge!

As a Customer Liability Manager you will play a key role in SASs customer liability team balancing litigation of passenger rights claims with providing legal guidance to secure compliance and efficiency in dispute handling. You will contribute to building resilient processes and supporting SASs transformation journey.

Challenges you will work on:

  • Stay updated with case law in the area of air passenger rights
  • Ensure compliance with relevant air passenger rights regulations
  • Apply a commercially sound litigation and negotiation strategy
  • Coordinate with legal counsel and adapt processes to international markets
  • Interface with national enforcement bodies and trade organizations
  • Contribute to cross-functional process development
  • Assist in managing escalated customer complaints
  • Support and train customer service staff


The Team

To be successful we believe you have:

  • Master of Law degree
  • Experience in consumer law and passenger rights regulations (meriting)
  • Experience from litigation in Norwegian courts (meriting)
  • Experience from international law in EU markets (meriting)
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills combined with strong problem-solving and strategic thinking
  • Ability to manage multiple projects prioritize and meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality
  • Capacity to understand complex legal concepts and apply them in operational processes
