Job Title: Front Desk Agent

Compensation: $12 - $13 per hour paid biweekly

Job Summary:
As a Front Desk Agent at SpringHill Suites Cheraw you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all guests and visitors of the hotel. You will serve as the first point of contact for guests and must have excellent communication and organizational skills. You will also be responsible for handling reservations check-ins and check-outs in an efficient and friendly manner. You must maintain the highest level of professionalism and uphold the standards of the hotel. This is a full time role with approximately 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor and provide a positive first impression of the hotel
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes in an efficient and accurate manner
- Handle reservations and cancellations in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the property management system
- Promptly respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve any issues or complaints
- Maintain a neat and organized front desk area and lobby
- Assist guests with luggage and requests for information about the local area
- Promote and upsell hotel amenities and services to guests
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a smooth operation
- Follow all safety and security protocols to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for guests
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings weekends and holidays as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems (PMS)
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
