Job Summary
Ballad Health Cancer Care (BHCC) in Norton Virginia is seeking a full-time Advanced Practitioner to join their group. The advanced practitioner will be working in conjunction with a medical oncologist to provide medical care (history physical examination and decision-making) to Oncology and Hematology patients. The advanced practitioner will participate in caring for patients through the supervision of chemotherapy administration reviewing chemotherapy order sets managing infusion reactions prescribing or recommending medications and referring specialists. For the advanced practitioner the scope of practice must be in accordance with the Board of Nursing in the state of Virginia.
Position details:
Full-Time Position - Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
