Job Description
Quantum Applications Team Lead required to join a growing quantum computing company. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of physicists and software developers managing complex projects and developing tools that support quantum computing research worldwide. This role is ideal for a technically skilled leader with experience in Python team management and a passion for advancing quantum technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead mentor and grow a multidisciplinary team of physicists and software engineers.
- Oversee complex software development projects in quantum control ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Work closely with R&D Product and Customer Success teams to align development priorities and deliver impactful solutions.
- Collaborate directly with advanced customers to understand their needs and translate them into practical tools and applications.
- Apply strong Python skills and modern software engineering practices to develop robust scalable and maintainable solutions.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Quantum Physics Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience leading software development teams and managing complex technical projects.
- Strong programming background particularly in Python and familiarity with collaborative software engineering practices
- Excellent communication skills able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for advancing quantum technologies and translating research into practical applications.
