Quantum Applications Team Lead required to join a growing quantum computing company. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of physicists and software developers managing complex projects and developing tools that support quantum computing research worldwide. This role is ideal for a technically skilled leader with experience in Python team management and a passion for advancing quantum technologies.

Responsibilities

Lead mentor and grow a multidisciplinary team of physicists and software engineers.
Oversee complex software development projects in quantum control ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Work closely with R&D Product and Customer Success teams to align development priorities and deliver impactful solutions.
Collaborate directly with advanced customers to understand their needs and translate them into practical tools and applications.
Apply strong Python skills and modern software engineering practices to develop robust scalable and maintainable solutions.

Requirements

MSc or PhD in Quantum Physics Computer Science or a related field.
Proven experience leading software development teams and managing complex technical projects.
Strong programming background particularly in Python and familiarity with collaborative software engineering practices
Excellent communication skills able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Passion for advancing quantum technologies and translating research into practical applications.
