You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a diligent and knowledgeable Export Control Analyst to ensure our organizations compliance with U.S. and international export control laws and regulations. The Export Control Analyst will be responsible for reviewing transactions classifying products and technologies preparing documentation and supporting internal stakeholders on export control matters. This role requires strong regulatory acumen attention to detail and excellent analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and interpret U.S. and international export control regulations including EAR ITAR OFAC and other applicable laws.
Classify products technology and software to determine export jurisdiction and ECCN/USML classifications.
Review and approve export transactions licenses agreements and documentation to ensure compliance.
Prepare and submit export license applications and other filings with relevant government agencies.
Respond to internal inquiries regarding export requirements licensing denied parties and restricted destinations.
Conduct restricted party screenings and escalate findings as appropriate.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of export activities and compliance documentation.
Develop and deliver export control training and awareness programs for employees.
Participate in internal audits and investigations related to export compliance.
Monitor regulatory updates and assess their impact on business operations.
Provide support during government audits inquiries or investigations.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in International Business Law Supply Chain Compliance or a related field.
2 years of experience in export control trade compliance or a related regulatory environment.
In-depth knowledge of U.S. export control laws (EAR ITAR OFAC) and global trade regulations.
Experience with product classification export licensing and restricted party screening tools.
Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or distributed team.
Detail-oriented with a high standard of accuracy and integrity.
Professional certification (e.g. CUSECO CECP) is a plus.
Hourly Pay Rate:
$45 - $65 per hour (commensurate with experience education and expertise).
