Job Description
Position Overview:
The Digital Architect is responsible for designing and implementing robust scalable and innovative digital solutions that align with the organizations strategic objectives. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders across business and IT functions to translate business requirements into digital architectures that drive organizational growth efficiency and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Strategy & Architecture: Develop and maintain enterprise-wide digital architecture standards frameworks and best practices to ensure technology alignment with business strategies.
Solution Design: Design end-to-end digital solutions including web mobile cloud and integration architectures ensuring scalability security and performance.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business leaders product owners IT teams and external partners to understand requirements influence decision-making and deliver value-driven digital solutions.
Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend digital technologies platforms and tools staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
Governance & Compliance: Ensure all digital solutions comply with relevant policies regulations and security standards.
Documentation: Produce detailed architecture diagrams technical specifications and project documentation to support development and implementation.
Mentorship: Guide and mentor development teams on digital best practices architectural principles and emerging technologies.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation optimization and innovation in digital delivery.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5 years experience in digital architecture solution architecture or a similar role.
Proven track record in designing and implementing digital platforms and solutions (web mobile cloud APIs).
Strong knowledge of modern digital technologies (e.g. cloud computing microservices DevOps data analytics).
Experience with major cloud providers (AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform).
Excellent knowledge of security and compliance requirements in digital environments.
Exceptional analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g. TOGAF AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and customer-centric digital design.
Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and middleware solutions.
Ability to lead architectural reviews and provide actionable feedback.
Compensation:
Hourly Pay Rate: $60 - $100 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)
