About you
Drawing on your real-life experience coupled with skills learned through education and training the Senior Peer Wellbeing Navigator will lead a team of Peer Wellbeing Navigators to support and represent people impacted by mental illness psychological distress and substance use or addiction.
You will be comfortable to share personal experiences with program consumers within a safe and supported way and will have personal experience of a mental illness or psychological distress and recovery.
Your leadership experience in the health or community services sector will be of great value in this role as well as your proven leadership and experience in working within a mental health or equivalent community-based support role with lived experience.
The position may also carry a small caseload of participants as needed providing service navigation and linking participants to relevant therapy services.
