Job Description

Corporate Associate (M&A Focus) 4th to 6th Year
Location: Open to multiple major markets Philadelphia New York Nashville.

Our client a highly respected full-service law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate (4th6th year) to join their growing Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group. This role is ideal for a mid-level associate looking to deepen their experience across a broad spectrum of corporate transactional work.

What Youll Do:

The successful candidate will support and lead on matters including:

  • Mergers & Acquisitions (buy-side and sell-side deals)

  • Equity financing / capital raising

  • Private fund formation and structuring

  • General corporate counseling for closely held companies startups and growth-stage clients

  • Drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents and entity formation documents

Ideal Background:

  • 46 years of relevant corporate experience at a nationally recognized law firm

  • Strong foundation in M&A venture capital and/or fund formation work

  • Excellent drafting skills attention to detail and sound judgment

  • Experience advising founders executives and institutional investors is a plus

  • Admitted to practice in the relevant jurisdiction or eligible to waive in
