Job Description
A growing health center in Rockland County NY is looking to hire a part-time or full-time Dental Assistantfor our fast paced dental department. We are looking for an experienced and caring individual.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Setup treatment/clinical area for patients
- Obtaindental history and recordsfrom patients
- Assist the clinician with procedures
- Preparematerials for making impressions and restorations
- Maintaininventory of dental instruments equipment and supplies
- Assist with patient registration and providepatient education and treatment planning
REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledgeable on dental procedures materialsand terminology
- Basic front office knowledge (schedulingappointments verifying insurances)
- Quick and willing to learn reliable and dependable customer service oriented
- 1 years of dental assisting experience
- Experience with Dentrix softwarepreferred
