Job Description
Vertiv Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Continuous Improvement Intern to join our Field Operations team. This internship offers hands-on experience in Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement methodologies supporting initiatives that drive operational excellence across service delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct process audits and support workplace organization improvements
- Perform time studies and analyze service processes
- Assist in Process and Value Stream Mapping and identification of process bottlenecks
- Support implementation of Visual Management tools and dashboards
- Participate in Kaizen events and root cause analysis activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document and standardize best practices
- Contribute to data collection and reporting for CI metrics and KPIs
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering Operations Management Business or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other CI methodologies preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and data visualization tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Self-starter with a passion for process improvement
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with time studies or process mapping
- Exposure to manufacturing or service operations environments
- Knowledge of Power BI or similar analytics platforms
