Our Hospice LPNs enjoy some notable benefits:
- Competitive Pay$28-$30 per hour depending on hospice experience
- Schedule- Full-time: Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM. Provide back-up call support when required and PRN positions available

As a Hospice Licensed Practical Nurse heres a big-picture view of what youll do:
- Provide home-based care to patients with six months or less to live focused on quality of life
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team comprised of a physician RN CNA HHA social worker chaplain and volunteers to carry out the patients plan of care
- Perform nursing services which are planned delegated and supervised by the registered nurse
- Assess and provide patient and family/caregiver education and information pertinent to diagnosis and plan of care
- Take a holistic approach to care that engages the patients mind body spirit and family
A few must-haves for Hospice:
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and active LPN license in Louisiana
- At least one year of hospice experience
- CPR certification
- Valid Louisiana drivers license auto insurance and transportation
- Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
- Clinical proficiency in nursing strong communication skills and compassion
