About the Team & Business Line:

A challenging and exciting role in a growing industry the OTC/HTV Pricing Team is a global team responsible for portfolio pricing and Independent Price Verification of listed OTC and HTV products. This role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with a wide range of asset classes traded by hedge funds.
Responsibilities
Your Role:
- Analyse and compare listed and OTC position valuations. Work with clients on resolving price challenges answering valuation questions
- Run OTC pricing models to independently value derivatives held by our hedge fund clients
- Involvement in testing new internally developed pricing models and system enhancements
- Ability to understand current financial models in use
- Improve pricing processes and infrastructure
- Liaise with other internal functional teams to resolve valuation issues
- Assist other teams with OTC instrument queries
- Understand the basics of industry/accounting guidance (e.g. FAS157) and assist with incorporation into pricing processes
- Review of client Level 3 asset valuations and methodologies
- Researching markets conventions and reporting standards
- Other duties as assigned
- Service levels
- Clients portfolios priced and assessed on a timely basis
- Develop and evolve pricing capabilities within the team
Qualifications
About You:
- Degree Qualified (2.1 and above) in Engineering/Math/Physics/Finance/Economics
- CFA MBA Master in Finance (or part thereof) or similar designations a plus
- Ideally 1-2 yrs experience in a related role (e.g. Derivative valuation Risk Management P&L reporting financial engineering OTC Trading) but not essential
- Should have a keen interest in learning about financial instruments markets derivatives valuation financial engineering risk management.
- Strong in excel with an interest in learning Excel VBA SQL
- Programming experience beneficial
