Job Description
Site & Maintenance Technician/Engineer
Location:Witham Sites
Shift Pattern:Weekly rotation 05:1514:00 & 14:0022:30 - Saturday overtime required on a rotational basis to support production
Role Overview
Were looking for a proactive and hands-onSite & Maintenance Technician/Engineerto join our Witham team. This role is key to ensuring our site and equipment run smoothly safely and efficiently. Youll play a vital part in reducing downtime and supporting the day-to-day operations of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Open and close the site as required
- Carry out regular inspections and preventative maintenance
- Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical and electronic systems
- Complete routine repairs and equipment upgrades
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
- NVQ or equivalent experience
- Full UK driving licence
- First Aid trained (or willing to train)
- Forklift licence (or willing to train)
- Solid knowledge of general building maintenance
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently
- Awareness of H&S regulations
