Job Description

Description
Indie School Parramattais seeking a part time (Monday - Thursday 8am - 2pm) Cook to provide nutritious meals to our 30-50 students.

Core Workplace Objectives
- Budget and purchase food for daily lunches.
- Create a nutritious menu for lunches.
- Keep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure no cross contamination
Workplace Tasking & Key Responsibilities
- Budget and purchasing food to create meals for 60-70 people each day.
- Creating a healthy nutritious menu to support the learning of students.
- Report maintenance hygiene and hazard issues
- Preserve and store food and ingredients in appropriate temperature-controlled facilities
- Stock management and waste minimisation
- Ensuring all Food Safety and OH&S compliance is achieved
- Clean kitchen and equipment
- Excellent planning and skills and the ability to think on your feet

Remuneration:
- Level 3 (AWCC Enterprise Agreement2022-2025) $30.34 per hour plus superannuation.
