smartdept. is searching for a Graphic Designerfor a travel tourism and hospitality client. The ideal candidate will come with 3-5 years of experience. This is a fully remote freelance contract opportunitywith the possibility of an extension. Compensation for this position is expected to be $22-24/hour depending on experience level and fit.
Youll play a key role in developing engaging visual assets for a variety of digital and print projects supporting clients in the travel and tourism industry. This is a contract role with an immediate start lasting through October with possible extension based on performance and project needs.
What Youll Do:
- Design and produce high-quality digital ads (static and rich media) print collateral presentations and mock-ups
- Prepare files for print production and digital deployment
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to deliver consistent on-brand visuals
- Work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
- Communicate project status timelines and deliverables clearly with team members and stakeholders
What Youll Need:
- 35 years of professional graphic design experience (agency or in-house preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign After Effects etc.)
- Experience with print production digital ad creation (including HTML5) and presentation design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of digital and print work
- Self-starter with a track record of delivering consistent high-quality results
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with WRIKE project management software and Slack is a plus
- Ability to commit to 3540 hours per week with flexibility for potential extension
