TeamHealth is seeking a dedicated cardiac anesthesiologist to join our growing practice at in Rome Georgia.
Join our elite practice of seven anesthesiologist and 24 anesthetists nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The team is the exclusive anesthesia provider for AdventHealth Redmond an award winning 237-bed full-service hospital featuring Northwest Georgias premiere cardiovascular care program.


Opportunity Overview:
Physicians perform cardiac and structural heart cases in addition to a variety of other cases including general ENT gastro vascular bariatric ortho podiatry urology neuro ophthalmology oral plastics radiology
No OB
14 state-of-the-art operating rooms
Rotating coverage at the Surgery Center of Rome a four-room ASC with a dedicated team of experienced full-time anesthetists
Over 16000 surgical cases annually (10000 at hospital; 6000 at ASC)

Qualifications:
Board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology
Fellowship training in cardiac anesthesiology is preferred
Current and unrestricted medical license to practice in Georgia
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
