Job Description

St. Davids North Austin Medical Center is seeking a full-time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic cardiology care team. This hospital-based role focuses on delivering high-quality care to post-surgical and ICU cardiac patients supporting both cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons in Austin and Round Rock TX.

Qualified Candidates:
Board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Texas licensure required
No Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs)
Minimum of 2 years experience in cardiology and/or ICU settings
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
MondayFriday 7:00 AM4:00 PM
No night shifts
Provide inpatient cardiac care including rounding assessments and care coordination.
Develop and implement discharge plans under the supervision of cardiology providers.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Cover patient care responsibilities at Round Rock Medical Center as needed.
Participate in weekend and holiday rounding across St. Davids HealthCare hospitals (approximately one weekend every two months).
