Job Description
Essential Responsibilities.
Interface with multiple customers and perform all of the following responsibilities: Order entry order acknowledgement expediting and tracking of shipments shipping and delivery confirmation and resolution of pricing billing and payment discrepancies.
Maintain current pricelists and influence scheduling of production so as to be sure frequent and accurate information is given to all customers.
Ensure customer satisfaction on all levels including technical support as well as clerical
Manage EDI reports and distribute accordingly
Support Manufacturing Orders for Aftermarket Requirements
Serve as a liaison between the production floor and the customer to ensure minimal disruption in customer satisfaction
Maintain ISO compliance through the use and understanding of Mack ISO policies and procedures
Follow all safety rules and regulations and maintain Macks standard of housekeeping
Maintain Macks standard of housekeeping in all areas
Participate in plant meetings as required
Assertive and a go getter will find an answer when its needed highly motivated and works well with others
Perform other duties as necessitated by change or condition as assigned by supervisor
Job Qualifications/License/Education/Required Experience
Three years experience in the plastics or related industry in operations production or quality engineering
Associates degree or equivalent of education and experience. Bachelors Degree a plus
Possess above average verbal and written skills and strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and MRP programs especially strong Excel skills including building spreadsheets writing formulas merging spreadsheets and making templates
Ability to use software to convert documents to pdf format
Ability to use Adobe Acrobat
MAPICS experience a plus!
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time and prioritize to ensure the greatest amount of customer satisfaction possible
Self-starter with the ability to deal with many interruptions
Understand Mack Molding processes and procedures at the plant locations they are responsible for
*Computer skills test will be administered
Unusual Working Conditions.
Exposure in-plant to temperatures between 50F and 110F and plant odors from plastic and paint processing.
This position does require walking through the production areas
Unusual Physical Requirements
Sitting for long periods of time.
Continuous use of hands/fingers for typing
