Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain an inventory of required laboratory supplies and apparatus for specific courses by communicating with the instructors and placing orders as needed through the Liberal Arts Administrative Assistant
Cleaning organizing and proper disposal of materials and hazardous waste in the lab
Assist in setting up the laboratory for each class exercise including organization and distribution of equipment supplies and handouts
Maintain equipment including electronics sensors and custom apparatus
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Associates degree in Physics or closely related field (Completion of PHYSand/or 181 can be substituted for an Associates degree)
Additional Information
This is a part-time temporary/seasonal position. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis to establish an applicant pool. As vacancies occur they are filled from the pool.
Compensation:
$17.20 an hour
