Job Description
Underground Construction Foreman
Responsibilities include:
- Attending onsite meetings with customers to plan and coordinate construction activity
- Performing onsite work layouts from blueprints measuring elevations from benchmarks and profiles
- Focusing on job site production details and quality of installations
- Maintaining excavation and shore standards
- Traffic control organization and oversight
- Scouting jobsites for utility locates and ability to start work
- Scheduling equipment tools and materials to the jobsite
- Assisting in tracking and measuring completed projects for billing
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in a construction foreman role
- Experience in underground electrical and communications or utility construction
- Trench excavation shoring and traffic control experience preferred
- Open to travel
